As a kid growing up watching movies with my family or even myself, I had this knack of wanting to broaden my horizons and learn more. I really cannot remember the first film I watched at the cinema, but all I know is that there are certain things that piqued my interest. One of those is the third installment of the Lord of the Rings franchise, the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. I remember the feeling of watching it for the first time I was in awe of its massiveness with all the orcs, humans, and elves colliding in the battleground. I may not be able to appreciate the story back then but its worldbuilding is really something else.
A few years later when the internet and Wikipedia became a thing, I realized that the same movie I got fascinated by was a winner of the Best Picture award at the Academy Awards.
As of this writing, there are 94 films that already won that prestigious award.
So I asked myself since I am fond of films and tv shows why not try watching all 94 winners? It's just like watching all the MCU Films at least 3 times. And since I don't want to watch them chronologically from 1927, I used a wheel-of-fortune-kind-of app just to somehow randomize the results and make it more unpredictable.
